Session 1:Rambus Silicon IP Solutions

8:45 – 9:00

Welcome and Introduction

9:00 – 9:30

Unleashing the Performance of AI Training with HBM4
Speaker
: Sebastien Person, Senior Principal Engineer, Field Applications Engineering
AI training models are growing in both size and sophistication at a breathtaking rate, requiring ever greater bandwidth and capacity. With its unique 2.5D/3D architecture, HBM4 can deliver Terabytes per second of bandwidth and unprecedented capacity in an extremely compact form factor. In this session Rambus will present the design considerations of HBM4 memory subsystems (PHY, Memory Controller, and Packaging) in next-generation AI SoCs.

9:30 – 10:00

Why PCIe Gen 7 and CXL are Critical Interconnects for the AI Era
Speaker
: Sebastien Person, Senior Principal Engineer, Field Applications Engineering
PCIe and CXL interconnects play a critical role in enabling the AI-driven data centers of tomorrow. This session explores the challenges of traditional server setups, such as inefficiencies in resource allocation, over-provisioning, and data replication, and presents disaggregation as a solution to improve cost-efficiency and performance. By leveraging PCIe and CXL interconnects, data centers can enable heterogeneous compute, memory sharing, and lower-latency communication across servers and racks. Lou underscores the importance of these interconnect technologies in reducing latency, optimizing resource use, and lowering costs in AI-focused data centers.

10:00 – 10:30

Navigating the Security and Safety Certification Landscape: From Datacenter and Automotive, to AI Edge and IoT
Speaker
: Stuart Kincaid, Director of Systems Architecture
Rambus explores the evolving landscape of embedded hardware security and safety certifications, focusing on key frameworks: PSA Certified, SESIP, Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434. It examines the structure and assurance levels within each scheme, highlighting their relevance to secure and safety-critical systems. Special attention is given to the strategic value of pre-certification by IP vendors, which accelerates compliance and reduces integration risk. Attendees will gain insights into aligning certification strategies with product development cycles to meet regulatory and market demands efficiently.

10:30 – 11:00

Break

11:00 – 11:30

Protecting Devices and Data In the Quantum Era
Speaker
: Simon Hoerder, Principal Engineer, Security Engineering
Quantum computers will eventually become powerful enough to break current asymmetric encryption, placing important data and assets at risk. In this presentation, Rambus will discuss recent developments in Quantum Safe Cryptography, address target segments such as HPC, AI Inference, Automotive and highlight what you need to know to protect devices and data in the quantum computing era.

11:30 – 12:00

Protecting your Devices, Assets and Platforms with scalable Root of Trust Technology
Speaker
: Bart Stevens, Senior Director, Product Management
This presentation examines the evolving concept of the hardware Root of Trust (RoT) as the foundational security element in system-on-chip (SoC) and electronic systems. While RoT is often interpreted as a cryptographic key, immutable boot code, or a dedicated hardware module, its definition and implementation vary widely across the industry. We will explore how RoT solutions safeguard data, firmware, identities, and system integrity, and why understanding their true capabilities is critical. With a broad spectrum of RoT architectures available, this session will highlight the essential attributes of robust hardware RoT designs—emphasizing scalability, flexibility, and resilience against emerging threats—to help designers and integrators make informed security decisions.

12:00 – 12:30

Protecting Terabit Networks using MACsec, Ultra Ethernet Security, IPsec
Speaker
: Maxim Demchenko, Technical Director, Network IP
As AI and HPC systems scale to terabit-level performance, securing their vast, high-speed networks becomes critical. This presentation explores how MACsec and IPsec—longstanding protocols for Layer 2 and Layer 3 protection—are evolving to meet the demands of modern compute clusters. The session also introduces the Ultra Ethernet Consortium’s new transport protocol, designed to enhance Ethernet for AI/HPC workloads with built-in security, remote DMA, and improved scalability. Attendees will gain insight into balancing throughput, latency, and silicon efficiency while ensuring robust protection across multi-rack and data center interconnects.

In our morning session, we will delve into the latest advancements in interface and security IP solutions specifically designed for artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge applications. Featured products will include Quantum-safe encryption, Root of Trust, HBM4, PCIe 7 and other innovative IP solutions. Our experts will provide insights into how these technologies empower our customers to accelerate the development of System on Chip (SoC) devices, mitigate risks, accelerate their time to market (T2M) and enhance their value propositions through effective differentiation.
